Motorola Edge 60 Stylus – A Stylish Phone

DEVICE REVIEWS

If we look at Motorola’s journey over the past 3 to 4 years, it’s clear they’ve been making some really stylish smartphones that focus more on design and user experience rather than just performance or camera specs. Continuing this trend, Motorola recently launched the Motorola Edge 60, and now they’re back again with another gem – the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus, launched on April 15.

The biggest highlight of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is its stylus, which feels quite similar to the S25 Ultra’s pen – not exactly the same, but definitely functional and impressive. But wait – there’s more! This phone is full of surprises. So, let’s explore what Motorola has packed into this beautiful and premium phone.

Design – Premium Feel with Practical Touch

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus carries forward the same design philosophy as the Edge 50 series. You get a square frame design with a vegan leather back, which feels really premium in hand. What adds more value is the IP68 rating – water and dust resistance on a stylish phone? Yes, please!

It comes with a polycarbonate body, but the tuning with the back color makes it look elegant. The camera module also follows the familiar square box design with three lenses and a flash, not much different from the Edge 50 series. However, the in-hand feel is excellent – the phone is compact, easy to handle, and not overly broad.

Display – Bright, Crisp, and Premium

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus comes with a 6.7-inch 1.5K Super HD 120Hz pOLED flat display. The colors are vibrant, and thanks to the thin bezels, the screen looks super premium. You’ll get a peak brightness of 3000 nits and 1400 nits HBM, which means visibility won’t be an issue – even in direct sunlight.

It’s a 10-bit display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, perfect for multimedia. However, a small downside is the lack of HDR support on YouTube and Netflix. Still, for general content consumption, this display is among the best in its class.

Performance – Smooth, but Not for Hardcore Gamers

Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4nm) chipset, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. This combination is great for day-to-day tasks, offering a smooth user experience without heating issues.

While it’s not built for heavy gaming or intensive multitasking, it still manages to hold up well. The Antutu score is around 627k, which is respectable for this segment. If you’re looking for a performance-balanced device, this phone won’t disappoint.

Software – Clean UI with Smart Features

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus runs on Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI, which is considered one of the cleanest Android experiences. You get zero bloatware, minor but useful customization options, and overall smooth usage.

Motorola also promises 2 years of major Android updates and 3 years of security patches, which is impressive. Plus, with Moto AI, you get a few smart features that make day-to-day usage even better.

Camera – Versatile and Fun to Use

The camera on the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is surprisingly good. From dynamic range to night mode, everything works well. It also offers a 3x digital zoom in portrait mode, which helps you capture more detailed and sharper shots.

While the colors are slightly boosted, they still look vibrant and social-media-ready. If you’re a fan of natural tones, this might not be for you, but otherwise, it’s a solid camera setup – even the selfie camera performs above average.

Stylus – The Real Game-Changer

The most exciting part of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is, of course, the stylus. When you press it out, a pop-up menu appears on the screen with various options. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Use it in Moto Note, where you can draw, write, and even copy-paste images directly.
  2. Draw raw sketches, and then let Moto AI enhance them into better illustrations.
  3. Many other useful features exist in the dedicated stylus app.

Unlike the S25 Ultra, where the stylus is integrated deeply into the UI, the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus offers its features through a dedicated app. Still, it’s quite useful and definitely not a gimmick.

Battery – Big, Fast & Wireless

Powering the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is a massive 5000mAh battery, making sure you can go through your day without worrying about charging.

  • Wired Charging: Comes with a 68W TurboPower fast charger included in the box – charges up super quick!
  • Wireless Charging: Supports 10W wireless charging, which is rare in this segment.
  • Battery Life: Easily lasts a full day with moderate to heavy usage.

From its premium design, vibrant display, AI-powered stylus, and clean UI, it offers a solid package for users who want creativity + style in one device.
