A month ago, Vivo launched the Vivo T4, and in the month of June, they came up with the Vivo T4 Ultra. Usually, the T-series phones are priced around ₹20,000 and they offer very good features, along with a stylish design. But with the Vivo T4 Ultra, Vivo has gone to the next level, because this phone is also very good in the under ₹25,000 range. So, the question is: what is the price of the Vivo T4 Ultra, and what does it offer at this price? And does that price suit the market? So let’s see what Vivo has packed into the Vivo T4 Ultra.
Design
Starting with the design, the design is very much similar to the Vivo V50 series. It comes with a hard plastic frame and also a plastic back, but the main difference comes from the backside due to the camera module. Yes, the camera module is the same as the Vivo V50 series, but the Vivo T4 Ultra comes with a periscope lens, and that lens placement makes a big difference between the Vivo V50 and the Vivo T4 Ultra. Otherwise, it has a different back pattern but no IP rating.
This is the point where some brands fall behind, because Motorola has started including IP ratings under ₹35,000, and at this point, they are attracting more consumers.
Display
Now coming to the display — at first glance, the display looks so good you wouldn’t believe it’s from a ₹30,000 phone. In terms of numbers, it has a 6.67-inch quad-curved Super AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The HBM is 1800 nits and the peak brightness is 5000 nits, so you’ll have no problem outdoors. Nowadays, the quad-curved display trend is growing because most consumers are bored with full-curved designs.
As this is a Chinese brand, the display color is too good because they boost the colors, and above all, this is a 1.5K resolution display, so there’s no doubt about the quality. A good point is that the display supports HDR+ on YouTube as well as Netflix, so this is a very good display.
Performance
Now, performance — the T-series smartphones are usually all-rounders in terms of price, meaning they give the best of everything. The same thing happens with the Vivo T4 Ultra. It comes with the Dimensity 9300 Plus processor, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. This combination is top-tier, and it’s the best you can get in a ₹35,000 phone. It performs very well in gaming, multitasking, and in any area where more power is required. The processor and other features make it capable. But now, one concern arises: what about the Vivo V50e? Because the Vivo T4 Ultra seems better. We’ll discuss that in another separate blog.
Software Exp.
On the software side, the Vivo T4 Ultra comes with Funtouch OS based on Android 15, and in the future, it will receive 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates. Now, the problem isn’t just with Vivo but with most Chinese brands — there is too much bloatware. Even after uninstalling it, it reappears after every update. The point is not just about bloatware, but also the presence of fantasy games and under-18 apps, which is not a good thing. This is one aspect I really didn’t like about Chinese brands.
Camera
Coming to the camera — here comes a big leap. The Vivo T4 Ultra comes with a triple rear camera setup and one selfie camera. Here is the on-paper configuration.

In real-world usage, the image quality is too good! One big plus point is the periscope lens with 100x digital zoom. At ₹35,000, no other brand offers this kind of feature. The colors are obviously boosted, but that’s okay (everyone knows this). The dynamic range and night photography are superb.
The ultrawide lens is just okay, not great, and the selfie camera is also very good. So, in terms of camera, the Vivo T4 Ultra offers the best camera setup in the segment, even better than the Vivo V50e — and except for the Nothing Phone 3a Pro, there’s no phone that can compare.
Battery
Now the battery — over the last two months, battery capacities have increased a lot and are now reaching 7000mAh, mostly in Chinese brand phones. Just like others, the Vivo T4 Ultra comes with a 6500mAh battery and 90W fast charging. This is a strong point, and there’s no worry about battery life with this phone.
Conclusion
The Vivo T4 Ultra has genuinely raised the bar in the mid-range segment. From its Vivo V50-like design with a periscope camera module, to its quad-curved 1.5K AMOLED display, powerful Dimensity 9300 Plus processor, and long-lasting battery with fast charging, the Vivo T4 Ultra delivers flagship-like features under ₹35,000. While the software experience still carries typical Chinese-brand issues like bloatware, the overall offering of the Vivo T4 Ultra makes it a very attractive choice for performance lovers, camera enthusiasts, and style-focused users alike. In the sea of mid-range smartphones, the Vivo T4 Ultra surely stands out.
